Hiya
Quick question, I have 3 cards with bcard (after them buying off sky card and goldfish)
I called to ask what the possibility of amalgamating them all into one card, rather than 3 different ones so I have a better grip of where things are.
I was told I couldn't, I asked why this was and was told there is no reason, that's just the way it is.
Is there anyone that can tell me why this wouldn't be possible. Or is it simply they would rather you pay the interest on all 3 rather than just one?
Cheers.

HI
cant answer that but i have found bc impossible to deal with not at all helpful
hope you have better luck with them xxxxxxform filler extrordinaire0 -
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that either - in theory it should be possible (usually you can balance transfer one card onto another throughout the life of your card - not just initially) and seems sensible. So it's probably because it's sensible that they don't allow it

What about asking them about the possibility of balance-transferring all three cards onto one new barclaycard? I suppose that would dependd on the interest rate of the card and the fees for transferring - but if you're paying high interest on the three at the moment, it might be worth looking into (and I guess, if you were trying that, there's be no need to stick with barclaycard).
Or you could see if you can wear them down by pestering them!

My guess would be that it would be more of a risk of someone defaulting on one large amount than 3 smaller ones.
For instace if you default on one £12000 card they maybe sell it on for £3000 and lose £9k
However if you have 3 £4k cards and they sell one on they still have you for £8k which you might find more affordable.
Also they can add 3 charges per billing cycle rather than one.New PV club member. 3.99kW system. Solar Edge with 14 x 285W JA Solar panels. 55° West from south and 35° pitch.0
