I remember the time we were planning for the wedding, we already have a huge savings. We opted for a simple wedding costs 2k and continued to save up. Last year, we could put down 50% deposit for a 4-bed house (at least we got something to show:j)
Our contention is that if we get into financial problem, no relatives or friends could help us. We got to get our priority right.
In the nutshell, I rather have a roof over my head than to show off for a day and regret it for the rest of our life.0
