Hi all,
Our electric shower has suddenly decided to start playing up - it runs for a couple of seconds, then goes 'clunk clunk clunk', runs again, clunk, etc.
Anyone know a good repair person in or around Lisburn who would be able to sort it out?
Thanks.

Generally people just get a plumber in. The unfortunate reality is that most plumbers I know will almost immediately come up with a reason to just change it unless there is an obvious problem. If you are comfortable with this sort of thing, you would do well to check your feed and also to see if there are any filters inside which have become clogged up.Always overestimating...0

Most electric showers aren't worth repairing. Usually more cost effective to replace it.0

If warranty has expired may be better idea to get new one. A plumber is going to charge call out charge and may tell you it can't be fixed and your still out of pocket. Check Argos see how much new one will cost and shop around for plumber to install.0

It was only put in about a year and a half ago, although of course it was the agent who was renting our house for us at the time who arranged it all, and he didn't even give us the sodding guarantee document. Useless waste of space.0
