Kerry, if you can honestly say in your heart that you believe what you just said - then thats fine.
But I would feel that I would have to report it to the customer service desk - then if they were happy I would buy the item.
Same principle if I buy something in a corner shop and they give me too much change back, I will tell the cashier of their mistake.
This toffee scanned at 1p, it wasnt priced up on the shelf at 1p (correct me if i am wrong).
What is the price of integrity these days?

TESCO frequently reduce the odd product to just 1p when they are on "final clearance" - usually end of line and being discontinued.

I've had several of the 1p reductions over the years

As far as I understand - it was NOT priced up at 1p. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong though. I know you would love too

Just the other day i bought boxes of "free from" mince pies for 1p a piece so can definitely vouch for this.TESCO have so much money that if they have stock that isn't profitable taking up their shelfspace they need to get rid of it as quickly as possible so they can put something there that is much more profitable and make them all the richer.plus customers get a bargain into the deal so are therefore more likely to return to the store.the way i see it it's win-win really.

Get off your high horse will you, Tesco is robbing it's customers every minute of every day up and down the country in overcharges none are ever paid back unless the customer requests it.

It is puff candy or it's correct name as in the op is cinder toffee, same kit as in the centre of a crunchie. Hard to make it wrong really.
