Hi, I Purchased a van in 2007 and for 5500 and claimed 50% (2750) in my 2007/2008 tax return.
I was expecting to claim again at a reduced rate of 25% from the remaining 2750 for this years 2008/2009 return but it has all changed.
Does any one know what and where on the form i should be claiming for this second year?
Thanks
Cutting it a bit fine now, any helpers?

The basic system of capital allowances has not changed. You can still claim Writing Down Allowance for 2008/09 except that from 6th April 2008 the rate changed to 20%.
On the paper return it seems to be called Annual Allowance now. But I don't have any experience of entering figures online. If it’s not important to you, don’t consume it0
