bridesmaid dresses

Hi there
I'm driving myself mad.
We're looking for green - emerald green, jasmine green, floor length bridesmaid dresses. 3 adult bridesmaids and 2 little girls.
The adult bridesmaids are all diff shapes but am hoping to find something that fits on the bust and then comes out from there but is fairly straight down and plain. I love some of the designer ones, but don't want to pay £150+ each on bridesmaid dresses! I keep looking at debenhams, bhs and the like, but they're soooo expensive.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas???
Love the dark green dress here but far too expensive!!

If you look at prom/evening dresses instead of bridemaid dresses, the price reduces by about half...!!
Just had a quick scout around and found....

I will have another look later on....
How small are the little ones? Do their dresses have to match in colour? or do you have another colour (cream? gold?) that they could wear to contrast? Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Hi there,
have you tried Landy bridal? Have a look here http://www.landybridal.com/Product/sort3-1.html they do allsorts (I think 63 pages!) of bridesmaid dresses in lpoads of different colours. I've seen the colour swatch and they do have an emerald green, perhaps number 11 on their chart?
Have a look at the Landy thread on this forum, it'll give you the pros and cons and I'm sure pics of finished dresses.

Have you looked at Forever Yours dresses? I've just ordered my BM dress costing £99 which I thought was reasonable. They do lots of different styles and colours. Also they are often on ebay. I managed to buy a brand new one for £25 on there so I effectively have 2 dresses for £124!There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age0

wow, thanks so much guys. will definitely have a look at those websites. the other colour we're having is burnt orange; so might have the little ones wearing that (age 4 and 11)
will keep having a look
Thanks

Hey have just seen this from looking at debenhams. what do you think?
my oh thinks I should get the bridesmaids to wear shorter dresses as i'm quite short so if they wear full length it may make me even shorter!

hehehhee - I saw that when I was scouting for you, but discounted it cos you said you wanted full length...!!
Personally, I LOVE that - and I love the colour....Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
I know! Sorry! Think we're gonna go for mid length now as I'm short and the oh thinks that might be better so the others don't look so tall! Well that's the theory!hehehhee - I saw that when I was scouting for you, but discounted it cos you said you wanted full length...!!

Lol - It's your wedding sweetie - you go for what you want...!!
I do love those dresses though - they are really nice, and will look sooooooo lovely.
I don't know when you're getting married, but Debs often have money off vouchers if you spend over so much.....if you can wait..!! (maybe get the BM's to try the dresses on so you know what sizes you need!!)Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved!
