Addicted to gambling & needing support

Hi All,

I have realised I am addicted to gambling, after a few decent sized wins I just kept on playing and I need to stop before I end up in a bad way. I've lost about £2,000, not debt, but money I cannot afford to lose.

I can't install the usual blockers because I'm on a mac, can anyone advise me on a good one for mac?

I'm so angry that I've tried to chase my losses, what an idiot I am. I am not very well at the moment and I think I've been gambling to take my mind off things, but it has to stop. I have been in debt before and worked really hard to get out of it. I really admire you guys on here and I feel like such a total idiot. If I had my time over I'd give that wasted money to charity. I've donated some winnings to Haiti because I felt disgusted with myself for being so selfish.

Hi, congratulations on realising things can't go on, that's a really big step. There's a thread on here for ex gamblers, I'm sure you'll find it helpful. They'll be able to help you with blockers, I think if you can get a parent software thing that also blocks gambling sites? Get someone else to set the password. Here's the thread:
