Couple of urgent questions

Firstly I have my court date on Tuesday and the closer it gets the more nervous I am becoming,so much so if somebody said boo to me right now, I think I would burst out crying, and I am grown man of 50. Anyway three questions in relation to the online forms on the insolvency website that I would like answering:

Section: Creditors
Am I right in thinking I list all my creditors both secured and unsecured here including credit cards and bank accounts with overdrafts

Section:Bank Accounts and credit cards
Am I also right that I list all the bank accounts and credit cards here, even though I have listed them under creditors

Outgoings
Are these the total monthly outgoings or my contribution to the total amount

Pensions

do both my frozen work pension and frozen personel pension go in the same section?

creditors - there are two parts to section 4 on the form one for secured and one for unsecured.

bank accounts - could be in 3 places, they should all be in section 5.4, then any that are overdrawn also go in section 4, and then any that you have the card for will go in section 5.2 - so depending on the situation they could be in 1, 2 or 3 places.

credit cards - these could be in 2 places, if you owe any money they should be in section 4, then if you still have the card they should be in section 5.2. so they could be in either or both of those sections.

Outgoings - section 7 - in here should go the total of the household outgoings (such as rent, food, fuel, council tax etc) and then just your personal outgoings such as your car insurance or maintenance payments you alone have to make

    hope that helps

Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.
  • Goodluck with tuesday ive been there myself, I'm sure things should go smoothly for you and maybe the insolvency practitioner will be a understanding/human type they are not all oagre's. Look onwards to the future, your life will start again tuesday debt free, Best wishes and chin up.
  • i was very worried about my court date but honestly its the easiet thing i've ever done and has made my life a lot more stress free most ppl are given the option to speak to the judge so it shouldnt be mandatory try not to worry it took less than half an hour to be finally debt free for me ! good luck
