Income tax on extra earnings

I am just about to take on a medical research study which will pay £1200, which I will receive in Feb 2010. I am currently employed and need to know roughly how much tax I will have to pay on this and should it be paid at the end of this finanical year or by 31/01/11.
Can anyone help me work this out so I can either pay it now or sort it out nearer the end of this year?
