Weekend Sat/Sun 30th/31st Jan - What small DFW things have you done this weekend?!!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D
Good morning everyone - where are you all?!:p I've had a lie in....still in bed actually, very lazy.
My girls are with their dad so I'm all on my little ownsome til tomorrow....bit bored of the house and my own company:o Not going back to work on Monday...just couldn't manage....I'm very fed up with it!!!
Anyway....here's today's (short) list:

Hi guys - thanks Milly for starting the thread.
Not a great start to weekend for me - was in a car accident last night. Lovely DH was driving me to see my friends for a couple of drinks and a takeaway but we had no idea how bad the road were inland - so icy and snow falling. Two cars in front of us lost control and ended up in the middle of road. DH was great and avoided them but we were forced to go into the on-coming traffic, into a van. Luckily, so so luckily, no one was hurt (I just have bit of neck pain) but we were both in shock. Very tired today and still a little shaky but it could have been much worse.
So list for the weeked:- Give DH lots of cuddles!
- Was supposed to be going into town to meet a friend for coffee but have cancelled - saving money
- Enter competitions
- Watch eastenders and silent witness on i-player
- NSD today and hopefully tomorrow - have all we need
- Uni work tomorrow - lots of reading
- Follow meal plan
- Walk puppy dog for free excerise
- Catch up with people using free minutes and free texts
Catch up soon, have a good weekend

Thanks for all kind wishes, much appreciated. :A
Found an agros gift card in my drawer at lunchtime, had £20 on it. Decided to treat ourselves so got an X Box game. Now, I never ever usually go on it but we got a game (£17) which has lots of old megadrive games on it (remember they were big in the late 80s, early 90s?) So we have spent the last couple of hours playing sonic the hedgehog! And now DH is going to occupy himself with the other games on it for a while whilst I enjoy browsing the forum!
Result - much calmer, have treated ourselves and still a NSD day! :j
Lots of love to all
