Oh no Inky that sounds horrible.

It's tricky to have an opinion Ellidee without knowing all the facts. The morphine is juggled to try to keep the patient painfree. I went to a course at Royal Marsden years ago and the body cannot overdose if the pain and therefore the need is there so it maybe that she is letting go a little. I am way out of practice really but it is good that she is not in distress.0

It's awful not knowing properly. My OH last spoke to his bro last Sunday and he was so exhausted after spending so long at the hospice he said please not to ring him, he would ring or email if any change. His sis had rung and left him a message this am so he has emailed her tonight in reply. Very difficult because of course we would ring every day if we could but understand all the phone calls are just adding to my brother in laws stress and exhaustion.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. Really sad news. It's flowing tonight."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -
LMC that is a gorgeous skirt, just the sort of thing I'd wear.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

As selfish as it is I guess the last thing on your BIL's mind is keeping his family in the know. He wants to make sure that his children and himself are there for her in her last days. Very hard for you as you obviously care deeply for them all but take peace that she knows you care about them all and by not phoning you are doing the best thing at the moment. There will be time when that phone call to him will be a welcome one because he needs your support El. I hope that things are not too drawn out for you all, when the end is nigh its the waiting game which is horrible.
hugs hun xxI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
