Various 3 for £1 Magazines

The Magazine Group has several magazines on offer at the moment, 3 for £1 (there are also many other cheap offers), including Computer Shopper, Evo, PC Pro and Men's Fitness (that was just a quick glance, there are others). Payment is by direct debit - you will receive an email after a few days telling you the exact date the £1 (or whatever) is being debited plus a second date for your first full subscription payment (this is the date you need to cancel before if you do not wish to keep your subscription).
I have had several of these offers over the last year without any problems. I initially just used to cancel the direct debit with my bank before the second payment date but this usually entails not receiving your final magazine. I now email to say I am cancelling at the end of my trial and then cancel the direct debit, this ensures you will receive all the copies you have paid for (only polite as well).
I have actually kept a couple of subscriptions to magazines I particularly liked, this is an excellent way of trying a new magazine for a very small amount and ongoing subscriptions generally have a substantial saving on shop prices.

A few other magazine shops offer 3 issues for trial offers, and you can get cashback sometimes via quidco.
There's a pretty up to date list at http://www.!!!!!!.uk/3issuesfor1.php and also, keep an eye out on this thread for other offers on mse at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=10751490
