    I used to do 09:30-18:00 but hardly anyone left on time.. and they didn't like it if you said you couldn't stay late..

    Hi, when I lived in London, my hours were about 9.30 - 6 or 9-5.30, i mostly worked in the media industry.
    Since then I have moved back to yorkshire and my hours are the same, ( i work in recruitment and a brewery) so I would assume that is the standard.
