Hello Martin.
I've seen some of the exchanges that have been going around about (nonexistent?) comments attributed to you. I am a window cleaner and use both your MSE forum and the window cleaning forum that you mention.
I feel seriously embarrassed that some people in my chosen line of work have been having a go at you.
A number of us have been trying to improve the image of the window cleaner for some time and incidents like this merely serve to work against that. Apart from that, it is just plain wrong to have a go at someone for expressing a point of view. The fact that you never said what you were alleged to have said is immaterial to me. The fact is that people should be more respectful IMO.
I trust that you accept that the idiots involved are a small minority. It's not for me to speak for others but I hope that you do not allow recent events to view the vast majority of decent, hard working window cleaners in an unfavourable light.
Also, I am grateful for the assistance that I have received from this website and the people on the forum here - without which my financial predicament would be far worse than it currently is.
Best wishes to you.0 -
