Afternoon All
Well today was supposed to be MF day. The direct debit came out as arranged this morning. And then the postman came
Instead of a letter confirming the mortgage was paid off, I received my cheque from last week and a letter stating they could not accept it because it would pay off my mortgage and trigger a deeds release fee
That was the whole point of sending a cheque in the first place - to pay off the mortgage.
After a swift phone call in which the B/S said they had tried to phone me to see if I wanted to redeem the mortgage but got no answer they decided to return the cheque.
I was so angry
Anyway whilst using the bathroom this morning I had a brainwave  does it sound better than sat on the loo
I decided I would go to Leek which is where the Britannia's Head Office is and see the B/S rep and give them my cheque in person. So off I went to Leek with poor Mr MOOC driving me. I handed my cheque over and today as arranged I am now MF
I hope you can understand my ramblings
