It is bad buying toilet rolls when you have about a hundred rolls already and are running out of places to store them!

I guess if there was ever a national shortage of paper , you wouldn't be stuck then.

My o.h still buys a multipack of coca cola , tons of fresh beetroot, and three pineapples every time he goes shopping..as they were my major pregnancy cravings last time..
I think he got into the habit and can't change his ways..after me almost killing him for not buying them one time it must have become ingrained in his brain..

i was poorly last week and had to take to my bed, dh came back with most on list except he went for own brand on everything, ended up throwing out fish sticks and scotch eggs, they were terrible. I dare not complain because this is the first time in 10 years he has done shopping. mind if you are feeling under the weather in this house you get the choice of beans on toast, salad sandwich or starve. thats the reason i chose the snacky foods in the first place. when hubby commented on how he had not spent much , on telling him what was the point of adding fresh veg and meat, when he did not have the faintest idea of how to cook them he fell silent. I actually think after more than 30 years of marriage he thinks everything comes from a tin or a packet
