Non resident -received new tax codes

My wife and I have lived abroad for over 15 years and do not pay tax in UK. We have recently received codings for next year which wold involve our pension providers deducting tax. This is obviously not correct but if other pensioners living abroad have been similarly treated the cost in paper and postage must be enormous.

HMRC has a new computer system which means that lots of people have wrong code numbers. You need to write and get them to correct it.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
