Hello
I'm trying to find a source of Hazelnuts for our squirrel feeder. Anybody know a place withing driving distance of West Scotland that sells them by the sack or kilo? They prefer the ones with shells left on.
Alternatively, does anyone know if they are easy to grow on acid soil? Do they take years to bear nuts?
TIA

Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

Hello thistledome
What lucky squirrels!
I'll move your thread to the 'Scotland' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

I didn't even know there was a Scotland board. Doesn't seem to get much traffic. Any chance you could move this back?Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0
