Mr Singh's minimart (cornershop) in Roundhay is good - they used to sell cheap vodka and gin when I was living there, cornish pasties too

Unless you mean East Asian, then there's the two in the city centre.

Where are you in Leeds?

Maumoniats has a few stores and are very good in terms of range but not so much in prices.

Hyde Park has Abu Bakars next to the Royal Park pub which is very good, and the bottom of Woodsley Rd has a few decent asian supermarket type stores, plus a fantastic grocers, I've often been in for an onion or two or a bag of chillies and they've told me not to bother paying.

Halfway down Roundhay Rd (up as far as Tescos) theres a good selection, especially of grocers, and Harehills Lane (i think) also has a couple. I'm sure there are a few in Beeston as well, although I rarely go to the south of the city. There was also a few in Chapeltown, at the city end, although I notice a couple have shut recently.

CC Continental is excellent, I stock up every time I go visit family up there, worth the 200 mile round trip!!
