That is certainly at the larger end of a payout (if it doesnt include surrender value). I can just imagine the reaction to getting a cheque that size when you arent expecting it.

Thanks peeps, and it does not include surrender value Dunstonh make it even sweeter... I just can't keep the grin off my face... I think a meal out this evening and lots of time to think of our options now... I will sit and try to figure out all the numbers they have crunched on the paperwork we have been sent too. But guess what I will probabely never understand how they came to this amount ,, BUT WHO CARES..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

its good that the FSA got hold of this firm and made them review previous cases, but you can see why firms are desperate to sweep the miss-sale problem under the carpet by fair means or foul, if they have a 1000, 2000, or 3000 other customers to pay with redress like yours, well you do the maths!!
