    That is certainly at the larger end of a payout (if it doesnt include surrender value). I can just imagine the reaction to getting a cheque that size when you arent expecting it.

    Now dont go and blow it all on those cakes cattie suggested.

    Thanks peeps, and it does not include surrender value Dunstonh make it even sweeter... I just can't keep the grin off my face... I think a meal out this evening and lots of time to think of our options now... I will sit and try to figure out all the numbers they have crunched on the paperwork we have been sent too. But guess what I will probabely never understand how they came to this amount ,, BUT WHO CARES..

    Well Done Tanith,
    its good that the FSA got hold of this firm and made them review previous cases, but you can see why firms are desperate to sweep the miss-sale problem under the carpet by fair means or foul, if they have a 1000, 2000, or 3000 other customers to pay with redress like yours, well you do the maths!!
