Zed, odd to be dating in general - I have been seeing Mr Sunday for 8 months or so, with only very occasional dates with other people, and had backed away from dating altogether. Nothing has changed with Mr Sunday, so it just feels a little weird, but this is someone I've known for a while and there's always been a bit of a spark. Somehow feels like I'm cheating, even though that's really not the case.
Jinky, it's in your location and your avatar you nutter. :rotfl:
El, please stay and chat if you are feeling sad - you are always so supportive, let us return the favour. :grouphug:
Just read on the running thread a couple of posts about running with backpacks - the mountain marathons that Mr S runs are 2 day events, running about 30 - 35 miles over hilly terrain, and you have to carry your camping equipment/clothing/food/drink/safety equipment. Madness I tell you! Oh, and there's no route, only check points, for which they give you a map shortly before you set off! I do wonder about his sanity sometimes..."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I think one of the hardest things for us is that we are so far away - my brother in law has his step-daughters with him for now, so that's something, but the rest of the family are scattered, Sussex, Suffolk, Glos. etc and us up here. We are thinking maybe, if it is possible, and needful, that we might be more help if we stay on for a week or two afterwards to support him as my OH is closest to his brother.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task.
