Pasta Bake - what to do with leftovers?

Whenever I make pasta bake, I always have at least another portion leftover which up until now has ended up in the bin.
Would it be ok to eat it cold the next day for lunch? Or is it ok to freeze? If I do freeze, how would I reheat it?
Many thanks xx

Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!

Yes to both the questions. Just put it in the microwave to reheat.
We always deliberately make more than we need as my daughter then takes the leftovers to work the next day or we freeze a portion if she knows she will want one later on. This is particularly handy when she wants to go straight out from work as she will take the pasta bake with her, along with some home made bread and a salad and she can have a good meal in her late break and then not be tempted to buy food at pub prices later on or buy snacks at the cinema because she is hungry.0 -
Hi Littlemisslotsofdebt
We purposely always make too much as I take it to work for lunches and microwave it there.
Otherwise I have in the past frozen mine (if I've not eaten it all for lunch that is!). I don't keep it too long (maybe 1-2 months) as I've found out of anything in my freezer, this is what goes naff quickest.
When I reheat mine I keep a close eye on it as I do sometime need to add a bit of water (tiny amount, I mean drops here, not a gush) to stop it from drying out again
Good luck. I ouldn't want to waste tasty pasta either!April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
