Lending Money To Friend

Hi,
In 2006 we got out a loan for 10k to start a business but it didnt happen. our Friends had a business and wanted to buy out the partner so it was all theres so we lent them 5k. They paid 100 every month into your account but after a few months they stopped paying.
They did not sign any paper to say that they received it but it was transfered to there account from ours.
We are till paying the loan off. Is there anyway that we can get the money back that we lent them.
They have moved house now but still live in the same area.
I know where they work.
Please can someone advise.

Have you asked them - thought about using small claims court?0

As above, small claims court seems best.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
