thanks, have just went for free one and 3 for £1. poor guy sounded bored to me like he'd been saying same thing over and over again all day bless him.
many thanks op for some cheap reading that hopefully wont include jordans latest boyfriends or surgeries taking up half of every issue! ;)

The bored guy on the phone said that when you get direct debit info, you are informed of the date when you will be charged the £9.99 for next six months and that they give you full email and phone details so as long as you contact them before that date to cancel, it'll be fine!

ive always resisted the extra copies until they did this last time. i took up the offer but when i emailed AND called them to cancel they gave me a cancellation number. i took note of it which is a good job as they still carried out their direct debit. I contacted the bank (was told by them it would all be sorted by them) but they had never been given any notice. just be careful and tell everyone you are cancelling yourself.
A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j

I wonder if there'll be a free gift and if they'll give it out on a free copy..

Marie Claire always used to send out any free gifts to those on subscription, but I am sure they stopped this last year due to the cost of postage etc,
I could be wrong , but 4 issues for £1 is still a good deal.
Hope there are some left for me when I ring in the morning;)
    Thanks op
  • I did the 4 for £1 offer last time it was posted (last March or so?) and out of the four issues I got only the last two had the free gift. One was the Body Shop Shea body butter, RRP £4.85 and the other was the latest Marian Keyes book. Plus as soon as I got my last copy I noticed that there was an offer in it for a free Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser for the first 5000 to call and request it, and I got that too. Not bad to have all that for a £1 spend :).
  • Thanx OP....xxx

Ive just rang (8.30am) and the man was lovely...He didnt even offer me any more copies so was saved from awkwardness...:)...xxx

  • Just rang (9am) he was lovely, but asked where I got the call from (getting suspicious??!!) I said it was by email.

I got the £1 for 3 further copies - but will have to remember to cancel the Ddr before they take £9.99 to carry it on!

    Thanks OP!
