Mortgage advice needed

can fix for 5 years on 5.99%
up my payment by £20p/m and reduce term by 3yrs 2mths

or
go on to SVR end of march and payments go down £100 p/m

what to do

£100 p/m would be nice for a couple months to save some holiday funds

Have agreed in principle for fixed deal but only lasts 14 days
plan to wait see what happens and if interest rates arent changing phone up in 15 days to agree again?
is that clever or stupid and will cause me hassle with lots of checks left shown on my mortgage

thanks for any help

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that interest rates won't change in 14/15 days.
