Which banks are currently lending to people at the minute. Has anybody recently taken out around a 5k loan with an average credit rating? If so who lent to you?

your own bank is always the best place to start.0

All banks are lending (believe it or not) but they are more careful who to and make more enquiries as to your ability to repay.0

Nationwide have some good deals at the moment if you are a customer with them. If not you could try offering to open an account and put d/d in and out of that account on the condition that they offer you a loan?Emily :A0
