Nothing wrong with my eyesight Max, I'll ask you again, Is there something I have missed, or are you just making the scenario up as you go along?

    Hi folks,

Looks like my bankrupcy is finally going through (you dont know?) and I've just had the letter through regarding my IPA. (looks like your bankrupt for sure then) At the time I was on £28,000 per year and they have come back with an agreement of £477 month (they estimated it'd be £340). I have just changed jobs and am now on £32,000 but that will raise to £35,000 in the next couple of months.(lucky you) Needless to say my IPA will also rise. (no !!!! sherlock!)

My house was taken when I went bankrupt (so you ARE bankrupt then, and if the house has gone and an IPO sorted, it was at least 4 months ago) so all that's left is unsecure debt (er, no, if your bankrupt thats gone too) which I wouldn't imagine would come to much more than £20,000. Is there an alternative where I can cancel the bankrupcy and pay my debtors? (too late son, but pay the lot and the BR can be cancelled...) It seems that over the next 3 years I'll be paying around £15,000 anyway so I may as well pay that withing the "bankrupt" tag. (your call but gate/horse/bolted/shut springs to mind)

    Thanks
    Steve

I think the OP is having a larf, but he wants out of the BR after the house has been "taken" but wants now to pay the unsecured debts - a nonsense post really....unless he wants to pay the mortgage shortfall, the secured debts and the unsecured debts, i dont think he can pick and choose what to pay
  • Max Man chill out the forum is meant for nonsense questions. questions that sounds silly but you just need clarification.

Don't get worked up just because PP put you right on FIVA (and I agreed with you till her post because I forgot all about FIVA) she didn't mean harm. And you going off on everyone isn't helping especially the OP. You've been around here a long time and ur views are respected so just chill.

    xx.
