    thanks for all the hard work you put into organising the meet edinburghlass - I had a great time.

    I was a little shocked by the afghan coat and the talk talk chat but I am almost recovered now.

    It was lovely to meet everyone - sorry I was so late though ;)

    It really was a brilliant weekend;

    Edinburghlass was the perfect hostess. I fell in love with Edinburgh and will definitely be coming back soon. It was great to meet so many other moneysaving experts.

    Many thanks to all of you for giving me such a fantastic time!

    Edited to correct grammar because I''m so tired I can't type straight! Yes I know Aliasojo.......you had it worse than me:o :)
  • It really was good to see so many MSE'rs on Sunday, old and newbies :) and a shame that some had to miss the day in the end but hopefully we will do it again.

    On Monday we took Vanoonoo and Pink-winged on an open-topped bus tour of the city to show them the sites (after haggling for a decent price to board the bus :cool:) which reminded me that last year on Mother's Day it was free to take your Mum to Edinburgh Castle. We had a great day there and on the way home picked up a free cordless phone that The Link were offering at the time, so a real money saving day :)

    I'll keep an eye on the Castle website and if they are doing it again perhaps all us Mum's can meet up at the castle and share out kids to those that don't have any!

    Thank you to everyone for making Sunday such a success and I'm really sorry if anyone has gone home with one freebie too many as my daughter has gone down with a really bad cold which I now have and Mummy Honey Bear is also suffering the same symptoms as is Vanoonoo. I'm scared to asked Aliasojo if she has also taken it home and btw still looking for two clocks, LOLOLOL :p

    Yip, I've got it too. Very sore throat/head, cough etc...generally feeling sorry for myself.

    Clocks are well wrapped in teatowels and put in basket near g.p's. ;)
