Canon A610 £139 is this a good deal?

I'm looking for a camera for around £100-£150 and I noticed the Canon A610 in Argos supposedly 1/2 price £139. Is it a good deal or are there better cameras/deals about.

Otherwise they seem to be about 140 on e-bay so I would go for the Argos deal personally.

The A610 is certainly a good camera (see Steve's Digicam review here. The Canon Powershot range of cameras is deservedly popular - the quality is generally amongst the best in class, and they are good value for money.

Other good points are the flip out screen, and uses 2 AA batteries

The price looks good too - I've had a quick look on the price comparison sites, and can't find it cheaper.

Many thanks, I'm not too clued up on what features I should look out for on a camera. I do want want that takes rechargable batteries this time though, I'm assuming they can be used with this one. I've reserved what looks to be like the last one near me and I'll pick it up tomorrow.
