Consumer Pulse

Hi, I've received a leaflet in the post today addressed to me from TNS / Consumer Pulse with a website address and a unique panel number. It is inviting me to join their shopping panel and earn rewards. Who are they and why have they sent me this? Also why does it say to type the web address directly into my web browser and not into a search engine? What do they not want me to see in the search results? Another con?

I have to say Consumer Pulse are fabulous! I have been with them 2 years too and earn somewhere between £120 - £160 a year in vouchers (they do next, argos etc). Its fairly quick to do, takes around 10 minutes once a week. I was lucky and got invited by a friend. I would definately take it up! You do not get any phonecalls and they protect your details. If you do not go on the site for a few weeks they may send you a pre recorded "reminder" phone message and thats about it.

I wonder how they got your name then? I googled them and it says on their contact age that you cant as to join or be reffered. Strange

I don't know but I did sign up to do Burton mystery shops a couple of year ago (but never did any) so might of got my name and address from that. Sounds like the same sort of company.

Strange, as you usually have to register your details and then wait to be invited. I didn't think that they were the type of company who used details gathered elsewhere as they seem to be inundated with people wanting to join.

I'm a member and I tend to get at least one £10 voucher per month. On average, somewhere between £120 and £150 per year so it's handy if you want to save up vouchers for presents or just to treat yourself! I know there are plenty of scams out there but I've never felt that this is one of them so if you want to join up, I'd recommend them personally.

  • Sorry to bring this to the top again, but are you able to add the vouchers up or are you only able to use the vouchers one at a time?
