Quinoderm Face Wash for around £3 ??

I really want to try this face wash, but don't want to spend any more than £3.50 max

I found it on a couple of websites for around £3 but the delivery is like £2.95 which i don't want to pay.

Does anyone know a cheap place to get it? or if anyone knows a site to get it for cheap and get a free delivery code aswell?

Also would Amazon work for the super saver free delivery if the face wash is £3 (i don't know if you have to spent over £5?)

Thanks.

    Hi there,

I haven't tried the face wash so can't comment on this. But I use the Quinoderm Cream and it is wonderful! The best thing about it is that you can buy it over the counter at the pharmacy in either Tesco or Boots and it is about £2.70 for a tube that lasts for ages. I know Boots stock a lower strength Quinoderm cream so it might be worth asking if they have the face wash over the counter there?

I also think its better to buy something like that in person for the first time - you can ask the pharmacist if there is anything more suitable, how to use it etc..

Good luck, it really helped me and hope it does you too!
  • I have been prescribed Duac and a load of others by my doctor and they don't seem to work on my face. I've been told that Quinoderm face wash is really good though.

RE: Quinoderm, I can confirm that Boots do sell it. I popped into the Coventry boots on the way to Birmingham and they had it, as did the pharmacy at the Boots in the Bullring in Birmingham. So I'd assume that most Boots branches do stock the face wash. If not I haven't come across a Boots that don't sell the Quinoderm Cream - if you haven't already give it a try if you can't get hold of the facewash!

Ditto...Duac did nothing for me. See if you can get a referal to a Dermotologist - they can prescribe you a drug called Roaccutane (accutane). Do your research though, its pretty heavy stuff!!! I went on it for a while but had to come off it because of the side effects! After taking it for only 3 weeks the acne on my back never came back again though! I use quinoderm on my face alongside a lush soap (Face Pharmacy if this helps anyone) for washing and pure jojoba oil for moisturing. I'm not 100% clear but my skin hasn't looked this good in ages.

    Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. And when you said you can confirm they sell Quinoderm in Boots, did you mean the cream or the facewash?
And thanks, i will have a look at 'Roaccutane' I just have a spots on my face but because of my pale skin, they show up really clearly.

Edit: I have just looked up 'Roaccutane' and I think that the amount of side effects are too risky, so i will give that one a miss.

Yeah I don't blame you....its miracle stuff skin-wise but the other effects of it are just awful.

And about Quinoderm in Boots - I meant they do sell the face wash at the ones I tried. They also sell a 5% cream and a 10% cream. The face wash was £2.95 for a large bottle :)

I have the same pale skin problem...not many spots any more but the odd one that does come up is like a lighthouse tower on pale white skin!
  • Thanks, just bought some today. I was thinking about buying the Quinoderm cream aswell to put on after the fasewash (after ive dried and everything)

Should I get the 5% one or the 10% one? Whats the difference?

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

If you have used creams either over the counter or from the doctors before that contain Benozyl Peroxide then go for the 10% cream. If you haven't then its wisest to go for the 5% cream.....the % refers to the concentration of BP in the cream.

The 5% cream is suitable for long term use for people with sensitive skin. If you haven't used BP before, get your skin used to it with the 5% cream then when that tube runs out upgrade to the 10% cream if your skin still needs a helping hand and is not sensitive. You should be fine though, my skin is usually pretty allergic to most things but is fine with this.

I hope the quinoderm works out for you! I think its great because its the only product (in the UK anyway) that combines hydroxyquinoline sulphate and BP. For me it was kinda a last ditch attempt at clearer skin, I hadn't even heard of it for ages so you did well to come across it! If you need any more help drop me a PM :) I think its unfair to keep resurrecting this thread when no-one else is posting in it apart from you or me :P

PS if you have used Duac, that has BP in it, so jump straight to the 10% cream
  • Just want to say thank you so much for helping me. You've been great and very clear. Thank you so much :)
