Need to sort out my debts!

Hi all, I have been looking at the site for a good year or so now but never posted on here. So am a bit of a newbie.
Anyway, I really have now come to terms with the fact that I need help to sort out my debts. After splitting with my husband 18 months ago, not only do i have to be part of the Joint account overdraft debt which he ran up, but I have tried my best to make sure my 2 boys have a roof over their heads and food and clothes. Both teenagers, so not easy. Plus the company I work for in the last year has suffered the credit crunch and this week sees us maybe shutting down. So not good. I have an interview so fingers crossed. But after splitting with my ex I had a car loan and some credit card debt. This has mounted since i left him because of struglling on my own with no maintenance or help from him, and because I also had a time with my hours were cut last year due to the credit crunch. I receive a small amount of tax credits and this helps but its not been easy. Been paying for a solicitor and still not divorced yet. Tough year. But im obviously not the only one. But need to sort it. Dont want this anymore. What is the best move for me. I work in accounts and dont really want to go down the bankruptcy route as I want to study for an accounts qualification (being banckrupt with not allow me to take the exam for this). I work in accounts anyway and am doing an online bookkeeping course which was very inexpensive compared to lots of others I researched. But when this is complete (next 2 months) I will be able to hopefully earn a bit more and also work from home out of hours to earn extra. Which will help in the long run. Any views or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Eve
