how do I get ink out of cotton shirt?

My wonderfull hubby was filling up the printer cartridge and spilt some of the ink on his NEW blue cotton shirt.
I have tried soaking it in oxyclean, used vinegar and some ink removing stuff he had, no joy, big black mark still there, not even in a place he could hide it by tucking shirt in. Is there anything else I could try or have I got some new cleaning cloths?

the one i see most on google is hairspray, put some kitchen towel behind stain first or an old cloth0

just sprayed the offending stains. I am assuming I have to leave fora while and then wash as normal? Will let you know if it works0

I have read somewhere that you can soak it in very hot sour milk. The question is whether the ink in the printer is permanent. It might be worth a call to the manufacturers toask them and whether they recommend any particular product?0

Try treating the ink with bleach. Just cover the offending stain and watch it disappear. The put in the washing machine separately.0

I've tried all of the above, now one last try of soaking it overnight in soda crystals. I almost don't care now anyway cos I'm so relieved about my son. He went to London today to a gig in Brixton and couldn't get the tube to victoria coach station cos of a problem with someone being arrested at a tube station, and was in danger of missing the last coach home. He had 2 girls with him as well. They couldn't get taxi and me and hubby have never prayed so hard for his safety and protection. he found a taxi, victoria held the coach and he will be home in about half hour. So dirty shirts really don't matter!!!!!0

Kim and Aggie suggest washing up liquid on stains on clothes, but not sure if this includes ink but worth a try.Squirt some on the stain, give it a rub and shove it in the machine!;)
Good luck!Do what you love :happyhear0
