Cancellation of Standing Order
I have recently entered a DMP and have just paid first installment to them.
During this transition time I personally instructed by letter / e-mail my intensions and the details of who the DMP would be with.
Unfortunately i sent first class so have no guarantee that letters arrived however I heard nothing from this particular company to suggest they hadn't
I cancelled d/d's as instructed and changed card number so nobody could take money out however this morning a company I was paying £40/month to set up to be taking from my card each month and resubmitted a standing order manadate with my signature and on the 22nd Jan to take 200 today 27th?
Where do I stand with this as they are claiming there is nothing on file to say that they have received notification of my plans and they thought I had done a runner

Surely it is the DMP company who should be dealing with this - it is the reason you have entered one?
As for the bank if you did not sign and authorise the standing order complain about it because it is fraud.0
