congratulations npsmama on winning your 901 is it a A901?
I have had mine for 30 odd years and its still going, it " broke down" for a short while, well a couple of days and i was devistated. I changed the fuse checked the wiring etc... then OH had a look at it while i was at work (still greaving over my beloved kenwood) He smugly told me that i had changed the fuse with a dead fuse and that's why it hadn't worked. I felt a right fool.
All's well now and i'm going to make some cakes at the weekend. Bought some new fuses as well. So happy Kenwooding nspmama.

OK...I think I've fallen in love with that A701...

would it be foolish of me to buy it (I could re-sell the 901 on ebay)?
My worry is the difficulty in finding attachments...I would want a mincer, sausage making thingy but not much else (wasn't impressed by shredder/slicer already have one anyway. I have a Kenwood food processor that does the liquidising, milling spices etc...)

    What do you think?

    sure you will.........:p

more like you will need every possible attachment for each mixer, just in case you have some sort of emergency needing a Kenwood chef!

maybe not, you could be a stronger woman than I...

The first mixer you won is a 901 - and a very good price too! If you do decide to sell either of them on, I'm sure you will make your money back.

Couldn't resist...:o It just looks so much nicer than the 901, much whiter too unless that's just the picture.

no difference - the 901's are all A901's, though some have letters after them to denote a special model, ie A901E or A901P.
