The best energy saving lightbulbs

Can anyone recommend any bright white ones that come on very quickly otherwise Im gonna be stocking up on the old style before theyre discontinued LOL
Also are there any mini ones available as I have 2 glass uplighters that the normal energy bulbs wont fit in and I'll be darned if Im changing my light fittings :cool:
