  • Hey K,

Thanks for all your support and advice - you really are a DFW superstar - you know that!

Wishing you a fantastic, memorable time - please keep in touch. I won't sign up for your email - as much as I'd like to hear how you are getting on - I have about 10 friends currently travelling the world and tend to delete the emails in a fit of jealousy (does anyone else do this or just me?) - 'cos I'm bitter and twisted about being in debt!

Lots of love and thanks again

Wishing you all the best Ms London - have a fabulous time on your travels. No longer will you have to be at work on a Saturday whilst others are posting in their PJ's!

You are such an inspiration - you'll be sorely missed, but not forgotten.

    Take care in Oz.

    Hi everyone!!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the kind messages & PM's I have received!!

Being on MSE has turned into a habit, so it was hard to keep myself away  !! Plus SS was nagging me to come back, and I missed **pp** and Jamesy too much if I'm honest!! :p (and the rest of you of course!!)

Managed to catch up on the work I needed to get done, & wanted to pop in and say how much I appreciate your kind messages!!

I have met so many lovely people through this board and without you I probably would have struggled even more with being in debt.

For those of you lounging around in your PJ's on this sat (Ali-ok your post made me laugh), you will be pleased to hear that I have 1 more Saturday left so I will be lounging around myself big style after next week. :T

I have been doing my sums and as it stands I will have about £8,350 + my tax rebate + perhaps £500 from my July payday, depending on whether I spend some of it or not before I go. So all in all I think I've done pretty damn good - even if I do say so myself ;) !!

All through this I have been thinking "It will be worth it in the end" and do you know what, it is!!! Ok, so I am not there yet, but it goes to show that you CAN have control over your life and once you are debt free it means you have the freedom to make choices and not be controlled by money!!

I love you all. Chat soon. xx

P.S I am still up for the DFW social on 23rd July - but if someone can decide on a time/place I will be there - I have so much going on & am useless! Sorry!

Hey Ms_London.....glad you came back :T as I didn't see this thread before just now so I would have been gutted if I hadn't of got to say bye bye!

I hope to never see you on here again......as a debtor! Come back and tell us wonderful tales and be even more of an inspiration so we know what to look forward to when we are debt free too!

I hope you have the most fab-u-lastic travels and that when you finish work, you have some great "you time" as well to get it all together.

Finally as MASSIVE well done from me on reaching Debt Free status and making a dream come true. Not many people do that.

Like many others, you have been an inspiration to me; I have read many of your posts and really admired you taking on a 2nd job, working towards your goal and now jetting off to Oz. I hope you have a fantastic time- you'll be greatly missed on DFW board though
