I paid off a credit card in full this week, not done that before and feel properly smug!
Got another with only £50 to go on it so that should be cleared next month too! :T The third has a much heftier balance but with the other 2 gone i'll be able to focus on it and clear it faster - feeling very positive about it all!! :j
My question is about Experian - how often do they update their records? The figures they are showing doesn't seem to relate to my actual balances at all!!

I always believed they were kept up to date - otherwise they are not a lot of use to people searching one's credit file !!
Well done on what you have achieved so far, it really does feel good doesn't it ??Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -
that's what I expeced but the balances don't match with what is on my online banking. so I assume there must be a delay or maybe the figures are refreshed monthly or something?
Hopefully someone can enlighten us!
It's a very rewarding feeling to be clearing balances, hope to continue it and hit debt free by the Olmpics!0 -
