Harsh fine on 'late' payment

You would not have needed to pay it anyway as it is unenforceable and has no standing in law.

oh how come? the letter even said if we did not pay in 14 days the fine would grow to £150 :eek:

And if you had ignored that you would then have had letters telling you that they may well take you to court and how you must not ignore these letters. They would have come from solicitors too.

If you have a look at the various parking "ticket" threads on here you will see that Private Parking Companies cannot fine you, cannot charge you for anything, and are only trying to force you into paying. You can happily ignore them, including the ones from their tame solicitors.

This of course does not apply to council issued tickets.

i still will not in future be going over the 3 hour limit for parking again!!

Up to you but nothing to stop you parking all day if you wish.
