Next online - further 25% off sale items

Got an email From Next containing this link, saying there's a further 25% off for selected customers but as far as I can see all you need to do is be a Directory customer, as you need to log in.

There's not a great deal left, but hope someone finds a bargain.

unfortunately you need an account number to log in and as I am not a customer I cannot get into all the bargains!!

May be useful to a next customer though.

I've logged on and tried putting many items in my basket but nothing goes into the basket. It just brings my back to the home page every time i select an item which is strange. I guess most things are sold out if that's the case.

Hi Leona - do you have ZoneAlarm or a similar firewall on your PC? If so, that will be what is causing this to happen. You need to close the prog down, and then you will be able to shop to your hearts content.

Chekka, thanks for this post, you have managed to save me some money tonight. Funny thing is, I nearly placed an order this afternoon but decided to do it later, and the things I wanted were still in stock, but 25% cheaper. You are a star

Have emailed them saying that code doesnt appear to have worked and asking them to amend my order total. Hopefully I get it as its worth about another £50!!!

It's quite dangerous to turn off your firewall ,
perhaps the problem is cookie related ?

If you follow the link the 25% is deducted as you add to bag so your checkout total may well be correct.

The same thing happened to me , I added to the basket and it went straight back to the home page.
This happened whether I went via the link or direct to the home page.
Perhaps there is a problem with the site ?
Nothing to do with the firewall - so keep shields up , unless you want a load of nerds digging around inside your pc that is.  ;D
