Any idea how the maturity values for 2010 are panning out. Dunstonh and Edinvestor?:)

Not had any values on Scot Am endowments come through recently. Must be due some though.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I called Prudential today for up to date figures for my 2 Scot Am endowments
One matures 8th April and one on 14th May 2010
They were set up to meet a figure of 30,000
Apparently in the closing few months they do not supply a terminal bonus %
Just a Estimated Maturity Value
Combined total for my 2 policies was 27,610
Very disappointed at this
Would appreciate any further info as well when you have it DunstonhHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
That is disappointing. Mine was set up to meet a figure of £25000 and matures in May too so I guess it will be about the same, about 2.4k short :mad::mad::mad::mad:0

Mine was sent up to repay £25000. Received a letter from the Pru today saying the final figure is £22973.12 giving me a shortfall of about £2100.
I had assumed a shortfall of about £4000 so was quite pleased (not sure if that's the right word or not) with £2100.
I'll see my bank manager / financial advicer soon and ask their opinion on what to do next0 -
Hi
Is that a Pru or Scot Am policy?

Yes, I would be interested to hear if it is a Scot Am policy. Mine is set to mature in May. What was your maturity date chrispbug and how long before did they send the letter. I asume your mortgage is already paid off. Mine isn't!!0

Also, my endowment is in joint names,i.e. me and Mrs Hansi, but we don't have a joint bank account. When the policy matures, will I have the option of asking for the cheque to be payable to me ( with the wife's written permission, of course;)), or will they pay it via BACS?0
