Nibbles while working - any suggestions?

I'm going to have to work late this evening and tomorrow evening (at home)to meet a deadline and like to nibble while I work. I thought I'd make some basic biscuits but realise I'm nearly out of butter - all I have is oil. I also thought about home made crisps but they need eating and making fresh, I can't batch them and keep them in a tin for later.
Can anyone suggest something to nibble - sweet or savoury and can be as unhealthy and fattening as you like - just to get me through!
Thanks
DS

Brazil nuts and dates keep me going when I need to nibble whilst working...but I targeted them mainly as a seretonin booster to ward off migraines... But a good combination of sugars and protein I guess. And brazil nuts good for selenium...0

Although...making up a batch of popcorn and tossing it into sugar while hot, or having maple syrup for dipping...that would be far yummier than dates and brazils!0

I used to take in a pot of hoummus and some carrots; or some apricots or other dried fruit [in fact I used to keep these in the glove compartment in the car for nibbles in traffic jams].0

I have savoury rice cakes - only good if you like marmite though!0

thanks, yes they sound great brain food. Unfortunately I don't have any in, I need to make something - nearest shop is miles away luckily, as I'd only end up buying a creme egg!!!0 -

Well, what HAVE you got in? We're not mind readers
Can you make some of Twink's hob nobs? Or just toast?0 -
You can make biscuits using oil instead of solid fat. Here's a basic recipe to give you the idea:

Just basics really, I'm trying to use up store cupboard ingredients. Sadly things like nuts and dried fruit are treat things, not basics in our house. They get eaten as soon as bought!!
Rice cakes are good though, and the biscuits with oil sound ok too, (I've spent ages looking, why didn't I find that recipe?!) I'll get baking now - thanks all.
