You need to know the APRs on the loan catalogue and card. Is the CCJ charging interest? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Welcome to the board!
Firstly, do find out the sums owing and apr's for those debts. Bit lacking in info at the moment.Amount short for making debt repayments. -233.61
Priority no.1 is to cut back by £234 every month so that you're meeting your monthly obligations. The good news is there seems plenty of scope in your SOA to claw that back.

Gas and Electric - do you pay by DD? Can you switch for cheaper?

Sorry - its just me but I imagined the OP in just shoes and knickers for a moment . . .:rotfl:One life.0 -
Do you pay council tax over 10 months or 12? 12 would give you a little bit more breathing space per month?
I know you're doing the £100 clothing challenge but what about the rest of the family?
Good luck with it all

mobiles are 4 3 contracts - reduce each one now and then cancel them ASAP. Go PAYG.
gas and leccy are prepayment meters - this is a massively expensive way to pay for fuel. Any chance of getting them take out. And you really do need to reduce your usage. Unplug everything and make sure the meter stops, then add the fridge and freezer and check their usage. Anything on standby eats leccie even when switched off, ditto anything on transformers still uses power when turned off

Are the rest of the family on board with you on getting rid of the debt? How old are the kids? If you can get everyone to get stuck in it'll help - finding bargains, being careful with not leaving lights on etc, finding cheap ways to keep yourselves entertained etc.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
