Sainsburys free 800g loaf (BOGOF later)

This started at the weekend in our local Sainsburys and is still on today, but not sure for how long.

If you buy an 800gm loaf from the in-store bakery (£1 locally), you get a voucher valid for 2 weeks for another 800gm loaf free.

This doesn't apply to all stores and excludes taste the difference and organic loaves. But it's not a bad deal if you buy a standard loaf - white, wholemeal, bloomer etc.

I think the idea is an alternative to the BOGOF - to reduce waste if you get both items at the same time. Plus, you have to remember the voucher and use it before it expires.

We think they should become referred to as a BOGOL. Not quite the same as the Monarch of the Glen spelling but should make it easy to remember!

Today I used my voucher to get a free loaf and I was given a voucher for another free loaf :j:j.
Not sure if it will keep issuing a new one we get through a loaf a day with all the packed lunches. Bargain !!
