How much can i claim for my mileage?

Hi

I am new to self assessment and just completing the form....i use my car to buy my stock for my online business. I have contacted the tax helpline to ask how much i can claim per mile but they were unable to help and said that i could go on list for a call back but it would not be this month! That will teach me to leave it to the last minute ~ can anyone help. I have kept all my records up to date so i am hoping the rest will be straight forward:eek:

40p for the first 10,000 miles in a year
25p for all miles in the year thereafter
