have you got a tin of toms? If so maybe you could make a sauce with it and the veg then serve up with boiled pots and grilled chicken?
Not hugely original but would use everything up

ha, just found a tin of chopped toms and a tin of sweetcorn ,
will have a go at that,
im trying not to waste anything, as i find if i go food shopping before the cupboards are empty i forget about things and they end up going out of date !
thanks0 -
How about roast chicken and veggies? I'd just roughly chop some or all of your veggies (except the spinach, possibly), mix with some chopped garlic and put in a roasting tin, put the chicken breasts on top, sprinkle the whole lot with some oregano / basil (or both) and a drizzle of oil, then roast until everything's cooked and golden.
Very simple, but surprisingly tasty, I always find!

I would make a white sauce and add a bit of garlic to it, slice and cook the chicken, cover with the sauce, then boil some rice and add peppers, onions and courgettesBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Chop us the basil and some garlic, mix in some butter. Slice open a chicken breast at the natural cut and stuff a spoon full of your mix in side and then fold back over.
Boil your veg up and serve, any butter that has leaked from the chicken can be poured over the veg.
