Hi Have just spoken to ndr today on phone who i have 2 catologue debts with, the purpose of my call was to find out payment due date as i was previously on fee paying dmp plan which i terminated in dec and needed to know when next payment was due however they proceeded to tell me they had closed my plan and i had 28days to get another dmc to administer the plan or they would default the a/c and sell it on.But i told them back in dec i would now be self administering the plan and they never said anything then, only that they had made a note on my file ,i sent them a updated soa affairs a few days ago which they havn't rec'd yet so i told them i would get advise as my other creditors have been happy to continue with the plan which so far they have but still have about 6 to inform.Any advice please as i'm slowly starting to regret the self admin route but didn't think it would be a problem as been on dmp now for over 2 years with no problems.

Surely if you informed them you are now self-administering, you are now effectively the DMC?
Have you informed them in writing (other than your SOA)? I'm not sure I can advise more than you've done already, other than to continue payments and do everything in writing, perhaps pointing out they are the only ones who are being difficult.
If you are regretting going down the self-administration you, you could always contact CCCS http://www.cccs.co.uk/ or payplan http://www.payplan.com/ as they are free DMCs.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Thanks Niccatw,I only put it in writing when i sent the soa but they did cnfirm on phone that they knew about it,and yes i am effectively now the dmc but they wn't accept that. They said if i dnt get another dmc they will default the a/c's and sell them on(which may nt be a bad thing)all my a/cs that have been sold on are the ones who have all accepted!I am getting advice from nationldebtline and if things start getting to stressful i might ask them to do the plan instead but would prefer to persuvere if i can as third party let us down before .Thanks for the links anyway may have to end up using them.0

Good luck grazyme. At least you know you've Nationaldebtline or the others to fall back on if it all gets too much for you. But good on you for managing it yourself. I hope it all works out for you - stay strong :-)Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
