Peter L,
keep going bud!! You asked a very simple question and it has gone crazy man!! You should have no problem with what you wish to do as long as all your income stacks up. It is a great idea and maybe now a good time(after you have had some fun dealing with your very innocent post!!) to seek out that IFA guy.
How one simple question can get hijacked!! Welcome to the pub bar on a Friday night!!!:beer:hic, hic, hic!!!!!0 -

We want the family to retain the fruits of our labour. If we chose to sell the home to pay for care of our chosing then that's one thing, but for the state to confiscate those fruits and then in effect give billions to millions of scroungers and cheats, no.
"pay for care of our chosing "(choosing) and paying for PRIVATE Housing association 2 entirely different things......deprivation of assets is not questioned in paying private care fees.... I am surprised you confused them....:rotfl:0
