    You are free to ask what you want here, but you must understand if you ask a question, you're not always going to get the reply you want...that doesn't make me a bad person or a troll

    Ok so you may think you're not a troll but just demonstrate all the characteristics of one. You spend all your time on this forum sticking your nose in all posts claiming to offer good advice but all you succeed in doing is winding everyone up. Every response you post is always negative yet you offer no alternatives or solutions so ok maybe you're not a Troll but DEFINITELY a WIND UP MERCHANT !
    If you don't have 'owt important to say then don't say 'owt ... :)

    You're unbelievable!....Are you saying the above isn't helpful....

    Problem with post's like yours...you dont like being made aware of the flipside....

    just because it suits you to buy a property at knock down price...you think you can do as you wish.....and any mention of laws etc is just discredited by you...cause you want to do what you want to do!!

    I never claim to give good advice....(on here)

    quote........"sticking your nose in all posts"...you're doing exactly the same now....pot, kettle ring a bell!

    Furthermore...nothing very credible in buying a family property on the cheap & inheriting the equity....and then trying to scam the state for HB to pay your mortgage whilst you're sat there owning the guys house...

    Sorry to the OP for posting on your thread but this little boy is doing this all over the forum ... winding everyone up ! FYI I have not bought any property at knock down price re-read my post ! and seeing as I OWN THE PROPERTY OUTRIGHT I think that I can do pretty much what I like - ALL within the law and overseen by a qualified lawyer - don't know what your problem is - jealousy maybe ???

    :wave: Apologies, but there seems to be some kind of confusion. I think you are getting me (the OP) confused with Peter L. Also, if you're replying to Post 40 (my reply to a response from Pincher), that's rather an odd response to it. If you're responding to Peter L's Post #43 (which I suspect you are) then you're mixing his situation with my own. Either way your anger is misdirected at me. Finally, if you're infact responding to what I wrote in Post 37, then it's kind of late, as I have subsquently written that you have indeed been helpful.

    The mortgage would undoubtedly be less than he's paying now, however, although he's not on HB yet, having dealt with the HB system before, I need to know what position I (and indeed he) would be in, should he need to claim.
  • Hey Pincher: Would HB actually pay part of his existing mortgage? I thought that HB was for rent only purposes?

    [QUOTE=ohwattagosiam

    I did confuse the post...as after posting what I thot was a helpful post for you...just highlighting 1 of many scenarios which could be faced ie appplying for HB after disposing of assets ...i then read quote "you're not a Troll but DEFINITELY a WIND UP MERCHANT !
    My mistake thinking it was you replying...

    Anyhow, you have to try and understand anyone selling property and then walking in and applying for HB is going to generate a hugh amount of "interest"..... disposal of assets is something they look very closely at and if there is any suspicion that assests have been manipulated they tend to come down hard on the claimant

    This is just one of many areas to be considered...
    I cant understand why people are so hostile when facts are posted....
