hi all
i was given a 4 week trial, on minimum wage.
i worked for 4 days then left as i had found another job paying more money.
i have asked if i will be paid for the time i worked with them an they said because i left an i was on a trial im not entitled to anything.
is this right, if not what should i do?

You are entitled to minimum wage for the hours you worked, it would be illegal if you were not paid; however they may have a claim against you for leaving without notice.0

I did the same witha high street book/newpaper shop. You are entitled to the pay you earned, reguardless of the time you worked there. It was a little naughty to leave without notice but under a trial period they could of done the same to you.
I hope you get your money.....

As you were on trial, there may have been no notice period from either side anyway - check your contract - I assume you got something in writing from them?0
